BITUMEN

Bitumen is a hydrocarbon substance. It is found naturally or comes through refining processes from crude oil.

The bitumen can be classified into the following grade types:

1- Penetration Grade Bitumen
2- Oxidized Bitumen Grades
3- Cut Back Bitumen
4- Bitumen Emulsion
5- Polymer Modified Bitumen

NAPHTHA

Naphtha is a term used to refer to a group of volatile, flammable mixtures of liquid hydrocarbons that are used mainly as solvents, diluents, or raw materials for gasoline conversion. It is a lightweight petrochemical feedstock that is separated from crude oil in the fractional distillation process along with kerosene and jet fuel.

There are many specific types of naphtha that vary in the amounts and types of hydrocarbons contained in their unique blend. Refineries can produce various forms of naphtha, and each has specific guidelines in how it should be handled and stored. Generally speaking, the flammability and volatility of naphtha should be taken into consideration as they are significant safety hazards.

FUEL OIL - MAZUT

Mazut 380 is a heavy, standard quality fuel oil, used in generating plants and similar applications. In the United States and Western Europe, mazut 380 is blended or broken down, with the end product being diesel.

METHANOL

Methanol — the simplest alcohol (CH3OH) — is a chemical building block for hundreds of everyday products, including plastics, paints, car parts and construction materials. Methanol also is a clean energy resource used to fuel cars, trucks, buses, ships, fuel cells, boilers and cook stoves.

GAS OIL

Gas Oil in general is any liquid fuel used in diesel engines, whose fuel ignition takes place, without spark, as a result of compression of the inlet air mixture and then injection of fuel.

PROPANE

Propane is a three-carbon alkane gas (C3H8). It is stored under pressure inside a tank as a colorless, odorless liquid. As pressure is released, the liquid propane vaporizes and turns into gas that is used in combustion. An odorant, ethyl mercaptan, is added for leak detection.

Is propane the same as LPG?
So referring to LPG as propane is accurate – they're one and the same thing. In the United States, the name LPG isn't in common use. Americans just call it propane.

BUTANE

What is butane?
Butane is also a form of LPG. It has a higher boiling point at -2°C, so is better suited to indoor use, and fueling appliances like portable gas heaters and single-burner cooking stoves. Like propane, butane takes the form of a gas, so needs to be liquefied for storage.

Urea 46

Urea [CO(NH2)2] is a soluble organic compound containing 46% nitrogen. It occurs naturally in urine and some moulds and fungi. Urea is manufactured synthetically by reacting natural gas, atmospheric nitrogen and water together at high temperature and pressure to produce ammonia and carbon dioxide.
